Entrance to neighborhood where son and daughter-in-love live...gorgeous! |
So late to Karen's, but since I missed the previous two Sundays, I thought "better late, than not at all!"
I did, however, make visits and enjoyed the lovely offerings of others.
Visit Karen's Sunlit Sunday.
Hope your week is filled with all your favorite things!
Smiles...Susan
I see the fresh greens of spring popping out!

DeleteJen... Lovely forsythia, Bradford pear, red bud, some azalea... Very pretty. Have succumbed to the seasonal allergies so a trip to the doctor and one photo was all I could muster. More after the meds kick in!
That IS a gorgeous entrance. Spring is in full force there! LUCKY! It's still cold in VA, in fact, they say snow tomorrow :(
ReplyDeleteChrista...it is lovely here. Temps to be down near freezing here overnight, but will rebound during day. Snow, snow go away, for my friends have had enough! ;-)
DeleteI'm delighted you came, Susan!
ReplyDeleteThat entrance to a neighbourhood is beautiful. I'd like to drive a little further and see the homes in the area. The white fence swoops along and draws one forward in a gentle way.
Have a lovely week. I hope you're able to join Sunlit Sunday for the final time this coming weekend and bring a little bit of Georgia with you.
Karen
Karen...making plans to join the finale! Have a thought or two in mind. Now to recover from the pollen induced sinus infection...just another joy of living Southern!
DeleteThey live in a very pretty area.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely and will be in full bloom with azaleas and more in the coming weeks. Thanks for the visit!
DeleteLovely to see you made it Susan!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds of a favorite song "Rainy night in Georgia" - I know it's not night but it is Georgia!!!
It looks like a lovely neighborhood and the white post and rail fencing!
Enjoy your week.
Hugs
Shane
Shane...we have had lots of those rainy nights this Winter! I love that song, too! Appreciate your visit.
DeleteA beautiful photo! Have a good time in Georgia!
ReplyDeleteMadelief x
Madelief...thanks...don't we always seem to have a lovely time with our children? Good times ahead....the garden awaits!
DeleteBeautiful scene! Waiting for flowers here.
ReplyDeleteSoon, I hope!
DeleteOh my what a beautiful sight! Flowering trees and leaves!! Can't wait to see that again!
ReplyDeleteHoping these lovely sights will be in your neighborhood soon!
DeleteI love the white fence along the side of the road.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo.
A bit of country within the city!
DeleteDear Susan,
ReplyDeletethat is a good idea to write about sunlit Sundays! The entrance to the dwelling of your son an daughter-in-love looks beautiful, and you should apply for a patent for your so original and sun-lit word-creation - everybody loves it so!
Britta.. Karen was so kind to host the Sun Lit Sundays through the dreary, cold winter. We do so love our Gwendolyn... it would be ashamed to label her an "in-law!" Hope you are doing well!
DeleteWell....I'm late in paying you a visit. Here it is Thursday and I am finally getting around to your blog!! What a beautiful scene you shared. BYOS is good for me today also...rainy and dreary.
ReplyDeleteAnni.. Welcome anytime! As you see I was late posting my Sun Lit post .. so it was Sun Lit Monday! Good thing Karen is gracious about my tardy arrival! Hope these lovely flowering trees brightened you day!
DeleteWhat a pretty neighborhood entrance! My sister and her husband live in a similar neighborhood in California, with beautiful mature trees and landscape. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb! Glad you stopped by.
DeleteSuch a pretty entrance, would love to have a long driveway. Great that you made it for the last SS, here we are still in about 4 feet of snow so it is Winter continue for me
