Pink - Dragon Wing Begonia
6 - Handsome gulls resting on rocks - Port St. Joe, Florida
My Town - As in many small towns, especially in the South, the church plays an integral role. Definitely true for me and this little Methodist church. Always think of it and the people who helped shape my life when I think of "home."
Sport - My granddaughter's soccer team won the league championship! Go Titans!
Night Light -
Trying to catch the "blue" light just before sunset. Not successful, but the dogwood branch looks pretty against the dark sky.
Collection - My house is filled with my fine feathered friends.
Big - The vastness of the ocean always leaves me in awe.
Dinner - Yum?
Texture - Nature's best
Curl - The curl of the waves in the Gulf of Mexico ...
I LOVE the ocean!
Take Off - And a big splash landing!
Plastic - When pigs fly? What's not to love?
Pop in over at Made with Love and join the fun!

DeleteWhat fun--I haven't seen one of these before. Your pictures are wonderful--it's so nice to have a peek at your life. Go Titans!
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun! I "meanta" do the March one, but somehow the end of the month slipped in too quickly for me. Go Titans, indeed! This lovely 15 year old is Queen of My Heart!
DeleteWow! Beautiful photos you have there! I particulary enjoyed take off, pink and 6 .
ReplyDeleteTake off was so much fun... this little guy and his brother enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon in the pool. So very good to have little ones around again. His mother, a dear friend, traveled half a world away to bring this boy wonder home!
DeleteThat was fun! I loved your shot of the dogwood - like a painting.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteNice to see your wonderful pictures. Small stuff to Big nature, I enjoyed them a lot. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what one can capture with a digital camera! Thanks for your visit.
DeleteYour 'big' photo is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis photo is one of those "in the right place at the right time." We were on St. George Island Florida and a storm was coming in. I just stood on the balcony of our condo, aimed the camera, and this is the result. One of my all time favorites. Thanks for stopping in.

Val.. thanks for visiting and asking about following. I do the Google Friends and Linky. I know very little about the "following" choices. I will research. Appreciate you asking. I have gone a bit extreme with the rooster collection. It may be time to set a few of them free! Happy days!
DeleteGreat selection of photos! x
ReplyDeleteA lovely set of photos. I particularly like curl and big as I could look at the ocean all day. And I love American architecture so your Town is great too. x
ReplyDeleteThank you... the ocean is my "happy place." The little white church in the small town where I grew up is peaceful and lovely... and very American!
DeleteGreat photos! Love the blossom at night one - looks beautiful, almost like a painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and taking time to leave a comment!

Hello Susan,
ReplyDeleteKeep the rooster collection as is! I LOVE the paintings. For some reason, I always love paintings of roosters and anything with roosters on it. They bring to mind the country and a quiet peaceful morning. Did you paint them? I also love the "Big" photo. The composition and colors are amazing. You are good with that camera of yours. Keep taking pictures.
Christa
Christa... The rooster art is all purchased... I dabble at painting, nothing good enough to share! Our little town is known for its wild chicken population so this is my homage to those little critters. Love, love taking pictures so thank you for the compliment. Thanks for stopping by! Susan

DeleteHi Susan! I enjoyed your April Scavenger Hunt photos very much. Loved Take Off! And your ocean pics ~ especially the dark, brooding one. I'm living in land-locked Colorado (which I love!) and very much missing the Bay of Fundy shores of my childhood in Nova Scotia! Nice try on your sunset blues ~ I'm always trying for things that don't quite work out the way I hope! But if you try enough, you're going to achieve it some of those times! Your dogwood looks very dramatic against that dark sky. Would you believe it ~ when I lived in Newfoundland, some of the people in our outport made dogberry wine! Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in. I have never heard of dogberry wine..very interesting! Will keep trying to catch that "blue" time before sunset.
