Undecided
I have been so fascinated by all the wonderful bloggers out there... I thought perhaps I could do this too! However, I am undecided... do I really have anything to say that would truly interest anyone? My thoughts were to write about all the things that are so typically "Southern" in origin, tradition, and the perpetuation of such. Then it occurred to me.. which, what, how to go about that? I am still pondering so I'll just leave it at that. Until then, to anyone who happens by this way... "Bless your heart" for taking the time to stop by.

Susan,
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you getting started! I hope you continue, just write about what you are interested in and love! Looking forward to reading more and getting to know you! I love Macon, my neice from Cal went there, I met my sister down there twice a year and we had a blast! She graduated last year and will miss going down!
Would love for you to visit me!
Rebecca
Rebecca... Thanks for your encouragement! I love Macon, too. Come back and visit... I'll bet your niece will love coming back, too! Popped in over at your blog. Looks very interesting... loving that coffee too! Plan to visit again over the weekend and explore.
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting! I'm going to Statesboro the week of the 5th to visit my BF. We'll be going back and forth to Savannah, working on wedding plans for her daughter who's getting married there on one of the squares in November, can't wait! Looking forward to some warm weather and some SUN!!
Rebecca
Dear Susan, I know nothing about what is typically Southern, nor do I know Macon. I'm sure that I'm not alone, as we bloggers are spread world wide - a great reason to tell us all about yourself and the country around you!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of you sharing your regional traditions, landscapes, recipes!
ReplyDeleteWhy not? If you don't take it too seriously it can be a lot of fun, its a great way to express yourself! And southern style has a unique appeal... I would suggest that you drop the word verification as it can discourage people from commenting, though.
ReplyDeleteAnne...thanks for your comment. I have been so busy with life lately, I haven't made time to cultivate the blog. Thanks to your comments I have been working on a post! I realized that all the photos I wanted to use are "lost" somewhere in my files! You have motivated me to get writing and organize my photos! Now that I am officially retired from full time employment, I hope to have time to do fun things! Again... thanks for stopping by.
DeleteHi Susan, I am glad you started your blog. Your pictures are beautiful and learning more about Southern tradition is fun. I love learning about traditions and cultures. Christa
