When the Winter Chrysanthemums Go
by Matsuo Basho

When the winter chrysanthemums go,
there's nothing to write about
but radishes.

I've no radishes, either, so let's do Wordless Wednesday... well, almost wordless.

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Hope you have found your Santa spirit and are enjoying the Christmas season.
Remember in all the madness...
the real reason for Christmas.

Merry Christmas
Happy New Year

  1. Such lovely and heartwarming photos for Christmas.
Thank you very much for your visiting on my blog throughout this year, Susan.
I hope you have special moments with your family and friends.

    1. It is always my pleasure to visit. You share such beautiful photographs and write such thought provoking posts. It is delightful to learn so much about our world through our blogger friends. Sending you and your family good wishes for a prosperous and Happy New Year! Susan

  2. Hi Susan,
This post reminds me of my dear Aunt who passed away a few years ago. She loved Santa Claus so her whole Christmas tree had nothing but Santas; she had quite a collection! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you, Christa

    1. Not sure why I decided to drag these out this year, they have been packed away for awhile! Hoping my daughter and son will want to give some of these guys a new home. Two problems solved...These little guys get a new home and I don't have to pack away! Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas season. Let us see what's going on at Cedarmere Farm! Loved your photos of the ice! Wrote a comment, but blogger wouldn't post for some reason! Will try again. Happy 2014!

  3. Beautiful flowers and a nice photo series! Merry Christmas!

    1. Britta... Thanks for stopping by! Hope you and yours have a lovely Christmas season!

    1. Thanks for the visit. I was just looking at my Scavenger Hunt list today. Must get busy! Merry Christmas!

  5. You have a lovely collection of Santa. My younger daughter also likes Santa decorations – but she has them on her tree, all types of Santa. On my post I also showed many Santa this week, but mine are pictures. Have a great Christmas and New Year too.

    1. So enjoyed your post and photos.Good to know about Santa's history. This collection has grown over 40+ years beginning when our daughter was small. Blessings to your family this Christmas season and 2014!
